Snatch’d tape works by using sensory input to the area it is applied to, allowing for controlled facilitation or inhibition of muscles for the reduction of pain, or better biomechanics. When applied to the skin, the tape has a "recoil effect", which pulls the skin up and away from the underlying tissues.
